Pros
➢ Enough Features to experience the best of photography
➢ A lighter camera body, smaller size, and portable
➢ Longer battery life
➢ Quality Images and videos with full control of exposure settings
➢ Easy sharing with Smartphone
➢ Excellent beginner camera to learn all of the ins and outs of photography
Cons
➢ It doesn’t have a port to connect a cable release.
➢ It doesn’t have an external mic port. Not a huge deal, but the mic in the camera is poor. It would be nice to have the option of using a different microphone when recording video.
➢ It doesn’t have the easy panorama mode that the D3300 has. it would be nice to be able to make a panorama without post-processing software.
➢ It doesn’t have the capability to make time lapses.
➢ The Bluetooth connectivity didn’t work well

Our Take
Take amazing photographs and offer a variety of settings, effects, and options all in a smaller, lightweight package. It delivers truly stunning image quality for a fraction of the price. This camera is only slightly larger and heavier than a traditional point-and-shoot. This camera does not perform well in low-light situations. If you plan to shoot a lot at night or at dusk, you might consider another model. This is the most modestly priced DSLR camera, so you’ll get the most modest quality; however, the D3400 outperforms its rivals and is a real bargain.
